Our story begins in the hallways of high school back in 2015. One seemingly ordinary day, Gio, in search of a friend, crossed paths with Barbie. Their initial exchange may have been about a missing buddy, but fate had something far more beautiful in store. Upon discovering Barbie's love for The Sims 4, a spark ignited, and their connection blossomed into something truly special.

They exchanged numbers and while Barbie thought she made a new friend, Gio knew he had met his future wife. From sharing kik messages until midnight to saving seats for each other at lunch, it wasn’t long before Gio asked Barbie to be his girlfriend. Barbie quickly fell in love with Gio's big, welcoming family, while Gio cherished the close bonds he found with Barbie's family. Both embraced the unique qualities of each other's families with love and laughter. Within the year, they started planning their future together and decided to move together after high school.

From navigating the ups and downs of high school to venturing into the world of college life in Gainesville, Gio and Barbie's love story continued to unfold. Together, they embraced the joys and challenges of adulthood, welcoming their furry children, Max and Ruby (yes, like the sibling cartoon duo!), into their family. Nearly a decade later, their love continues to deepen with each passing day, filled with shared laughter, unwavering support, and a profound admiration for each other's growth.

On their 8th anniversary, October 6th, 2023, Gio orchestrated a romantic surprise at a local park. A heartfelt montage of their cherished memories led to the question, accompanied by the most breathtaking ring Barbie had ever seen. It was the easiest yes she had ever said in her life. They celebrated with a five-star dinner and immediately called all of their closest friends and family to give them the news.

This April, they can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you! Dust off those dancing shoes and get ready to party because when these two high school sweethearts say "I do," it's going to be a party to remember!
