One January day, Gio and one of his (now) groomsmen made open invite plans to go ice skating downtown. 


Paloma recently moved from Texas to Illinois that fall. She was invited to go ice skating the week before. Although she was nervous to go, she was excited to make new friends. 


As ice skating was ending and the groups made plans to go to dinner, Gio saw Paloma and decided to invited her to go out to eat after introducing himself. 


Although Paloma wasn’t able to go to eat that day, the two went dancing with a group of friends shortly after. They got along well and the rest is history!
