Have dinner at a traditional Irish steakhouse who uses local ingredients and grass fed Irish beef to deliver excellent hearty dishes.
Temple Bar
Grab a pint at one of Dublin’s most famous pubs who almost always have live music playing and attracts quite the crowd.
Keoghs Cafe
Grab a traditional Irish breakfast and spectacular sweet treats at Keoghs Cafe in downtown Dublin. They have to go and dine in options for coffee and pastries as well. The chai latte here is my favorite!!
Guiness Brewery
Head to the Guinness brewery for a tour and tasting of Ireland’s favorite and most famous refreshment!
Jameson Distillery
Head to the Jameson Distillery for a tour of the original distilling location of Jameson Whiskey and learn about the history of the Jameson family. Try some of their different Whiskey cocktails and book a Cask Draw Tasting for a special add on experience
No. 27 Bar At The Shelbourne
Have drinks and lunch or dinner at No. 27 bar off the Shelbourne Hotels lobby. P.S. try the espresso martini!
The Shelbourne Hotel
We highly reccomend staying at The Shelbourne if you plan to extend your stay in Dublin. We had an excellent stay here, the restaurant is really great, and it’s walkable to all of the downtown attractions of Grafton Street
Day Trip To Dalkey
Dalkey is a charming waterfront town on the coastal edge of County Dublin. You can take a train from downtown Dublin to Dalkey in roughly 40 minutes for a day trip or spend a few days there exploring.
Cliffs Of Moher
Although not officially in Dublin, you can’t visit Ireland without adding the Cliffs of Moher to your itinerary! The cliffs are actually pretty far from Dublin, around three hours each way, so maybe decide to book atleast a day-trip to simplify things (and avoid the need to rent a car in a country that drives on the left side of the road).
Viator offers tons of great day-trip tours to the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin, like this 5-star rated excursion (with over 11,000 reviews!) that includes transportation to and from the cliffs, a stop at the Cliffs of Moher, admission to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience, 2-hours in Galway, and a complimentary Galway walking tour for only $85. Your guide will offer some interesting tidbits about Irish history as you cruise down the Wild Atlantic Way.
