IS THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION AT THE SAME LOCATION?
Yes!! Both will be at the same location, just a short walk apart on the same property.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for parking, walking to the ceremony spot, and getting settled.
What should I wear?
The wedding will be outdoors, with a celebration that’s both elegant and laid-back. We ask that guests wear semi-formal attire, keeping comfort and the mountain setting in mind.
Evenings in Grand Lake can get chilly, so a jacket, shawl, or sweater is highly recommended. For more details, check out the Dress Code tab.
Are kids invited?
We absolutely love kids, but we’ve decided to keep our celebration adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope you’ll take this as a chance for a fun night out!
Can I bring a date?
Our guest list is super tight, so no plus-ones. But who needs a date when you’ve got us and an open bar?
Will there be parking?
Yes but parking is limited to 15 cars. We’ll share more info ahead of time to make things easier but please consider carpooling.
Where should I sit?
Feel free to sit wherever you like, both the ceremony and reception are open seating! We’ll just have a few rows up front reserved for immediate family during the ceremony.
WILL THERE BE ALCOHOL?
Yes! Drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! Please drink responsibly and arrange for a designated driver or a place to stay so you can enjoy the day (and the morning after).
CAN I TAKE PICTURES?
PLEASE DO! We’ll even have a QR code/website where you can easily upload all your pictures from the day!
Just please be mindful of our professional photographer and videographer and try not to step into the aisle or get in their way during the ceremony.
What’s the weather like?
Late June in Grand Lake is typically sunny and mild during the day, but evenings can be chilly, especially in the mountains. Pack a sweater or jacket just in case.
CAN I GET SOME MORE CLEAR DIRECTIONS?
Please visit the “Directions & Map” tab on this website for more information.
DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY?
Yes! It is not a traditional registry but a Honeymoon registry that will help fund our next adventure.
Are there accommodations nearby?
There are plenty of hotels, inns, and rentals in Grand Lake. You can find more information under the “Travel” tab on this website.
What time does the reception end?
Since we’re at an Airbnb, we have to turn the music down at 10 PM to keep the neighbors happy. But the party’s not over, you’re welcome to stick around for hanging out, chatting, and late-night snacks!
Still have questions? Reach out to us anytime. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
