Our story began on October 26th, 2019. We met at a Halloween party, she was a Hot Cheeto and I was a Cowboy. Our connection was instant.

After a couple of months of projecting movies on the ceiling, listening to records together, and conversations that always seemed to last for hours, we knew that our connection was much deeper than we had anticipated.

On January 11th, 2020, we officially became a couple!

The next couple of years had their ups and downs. Whether it was navigating a global pandemic or learning how to love each other long distance, we always made sure to keep ourselves grounded in our love for each other.

On August 26th, 2022, we were able to move in together in Charlotte!

This new chapter of our lives allowed our love to grow so much deeper and for us to experience the joy (and pain) of moving in with a partner for the first time. We quickly added a new member to our family, Indy, who is our very talkative and food-motivated dog.

We knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. In the fall of 2023, I secretly designed her ring with a jeweler in my hometown, and had it hidden in the apartment by the beginning of 2024.

On February 26th, 2024, we got engaged!

Freedom Park was the location of our first date in Charlotte, as well as many others. We walked onto the island in the middle of the park, where we looked out at the water and surrounding trees. After beginning my speech to ask Giullianna to marry me, she, thinking I was joking, promptly interrupted me to tell me to stop what I was saying and that I should save it for when I was actually going to propose. I continued on, got down on one knee, and asked the love of my life to marry me. Thankfully, she happily said yes!

We have been overjoyed with love and cannot wait to celebrate the big day with the friends and family we hold dear!
