In June of 2020, I brought my newly rescued dog Duke with me to Sagebrush to catch some live music and celebrate my close friend's birthday. Duke was my lucky charm that night. Duke helped me into a conversation with this stunning redhead named Glenda. I think she was more interested in my dog than me that night, but whatever it takes to get a shot, right? Glenda had a beautiful smile, amazing charm, and I managed to get her phone number. Over the next two years we would discover that we both loved traveling, live music, fitness, and shared a passion for serving others. Glenda's easy going, laid back nature was the perfect balance to my passionate personality. We found that we both like to tease and rib each other. We laughed together easily and often. We both knew we found our soulmate. I'll chime in here, ha;)...&nbsp;I actually didn't feel like going out that eventful summer night.&nbsp;Thankfully, my friends wouldn't have it!&nbsp;Duke definitely gets some credit but it was James' kindness, intelligence and openness that won me over.&nbsp;I love his desire to communicate and create a connection with others. He brings out the best in both of us.&nbsp;I feel so loved and am blessed to have him in my life. We got engaged in July this year. Soon after we began planning the wedding. We explored several location venues but because of Covid weddings are booked solid through 2023 and our options for the spring were remarkably limited. So we kept circling back to the idea of a destination wedding. We ultimately decided on the Riviera Maya based on the stellar reputation for destination weddings, incredible weather, and convenience from the states. We're excited to start this next chapter in our journey together and hope you can celebrate with us.

RESORT: We've reserved rooms for everyone in advance and each party has a unique confirmation code. The resort books up 6 months in advance so we were required to reserve rooms in order to insure we had rooms blocked.We will email your unique confirmation code. Once you have your code call 866 211 6223 and select option #1 for hotel only accommodations then option 2 to modify reservation. The rooms are booked under our credit card, so you will need to tell the concierge that want to update the credit card information. The concierge will email you a form to provide your credit card information. They will bill your card 30 days before check-in. You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before check-in should something come up and you're unable to attend. There is a 3 night minimum to secure the preferred rate but you are welcomed to stay for a shorter time or extend your stay for as more nights before or after the wedding. This is an incredible resort so we expect many will choose to take advantage and make this a vacation. FLIGHTS: You will fly into Cancun International Airport American Airlines has direct flights from both Austin and Houston GROUND TRANSPORTATION: Private transportation to and from the resort is included with your room. Contact the resort once you've booked your room and let them know when your flight arrives and departs. You will need to know the airline and flight number.
