Our Wedding

Grace spent a lot of time growing up helping her Grampy on the farm, which is probably why she was so sure she would never marry a farmer. That plan did not last very long. Glenn and Grace met at the lake in April of 2020. Two months later in June, Glenn asked Grace to be his girlfriend, and from there they spent their high school years together going to school dances, cheering at games, and just doing life side by side. They ended up loving the simple stuff most. Tractor rides, Bible studies, hanging out at the lake when Glenn was not busy on the farm, and eating at their favorite places became some of their favorite times together. Somewhere along the way, Grace fell in love with a farmer after all. Glenn proposed in a cornfield by the river where they had both taken their senior photos, which made it feel even more like their place. It was simple and meant a lot. They also added a puppy named Millie, who definitely keeps things interesting. Somehow her first birthday landed on their wedding day, which feels pretty fitting for the life they are building together.
