We first met at Pine Ridge Bible Camp the previous summer when both of our families were volunteering. We reconnected again at a youth retreat at PRBC months later! (pictured at WhiteOut 2016!)

Eli's family moved back to Michigan and joined my church. It had been about 4 years since we last interacted! I immediately texted my friends about "this guy" I met at church and was interested in ;) (the power of manifesting!!)

After a couple weeks of Glo snapchatting Eli and Eli hardly responding, we finally hung out! A couple friendly pickup basketball games before youth group became our thing.

The Covid pandemic allowed us to spend a lot of time together doing a lot of pickup basketball, Outer banks watching, and time at the Williams house. We both were baptized at Grace EFC on June 21st!

Eli graduates from RHS-covid style! We celebrated his graduation and going away party before he left for Navy bootcamp.

After 7 weeks of no communication, we were able to exchange our first letters! Little did we both know, this would be our only communication for almost 6 months. Between the two of us we exchanged almost 150 letters, writing almost everyday when Eli was in covid isolation and separations.

Eli is HOME! Due to prolonged time spent in covid separations, out of Eli's control, he came home from the Navy. We had a lot of catching up to do!

When we made it "official!"

Our first and only prom! Glo's senior year was pretty weird with Covid still lingering, but we still were able to experience some fun high school activities including basketball, prom, and graduation

Eli moved to FSU for college and Glo starts at GRCC! Long distance 2.0!

Glo got plane tickets to Florida for Eli's christmas gift! We visited some cool sites and had fun despite it being chilly!

We continued "long distance", Eli finishing his semester at Ferris. Glo earned her associates degree at GRCC.

First UMich Basketball game! Glo working full time, prepping for PWC & on nursing school waitlist. Eli finishing his second semester at FSU.

Glo in nursing program and Eli working full time! Life is busy, but we enjoy living 10 minutes away from each other!

ENGAGED!! Glo was pushing all weekend to go to a horse show and Eli (for the first time) heavily pushed against it. After a chaotic scavenger hunt in a downpour thunderstorm, this was the end result! 1940's ring that was 1.5 sizes too small, but so cool!

Glo 90% done with nursing school, Eli working at Wynalda. Time to plan a wedding! The countdown to forever is ON!
