Exodus World Service mobilizes the Christian community to welcome and befriend refugees—people who were forced to flee their country due to war or persecution. Last year Exodus volunteers provided practical help and friendship to nearly 12,000 refugees from Afghanistan, Burma, Congo, Ukraine, and other countries. DuPage Pads' mission is to end homelessness in DuPage County, Illinois. Their programs feed and shelter individuals and families who are homeless, connect them to case management and other services that can address the underlying cause of their homelessness. Last year DuPage Pads provided 40,213 nights of shelter to 984 people and helped 334 people obtain employment and stable housing for them and their families.
