Grace & Kyle met at Grace's first Iowa State ASABE Club meeting! Grace was looking him up on Facebook after the meeting! Kyle always remembers talking to Grace at the meetings and watching her face turn red.

Kyle was the co-chair for the Ag Engineering Clubs fundraising committee and helped run the club leaf rake! Grace attended and fell in love with it all and started to notice a cute blonde!

Grace & Kyle continued their involvement in the ASABE Club and both became part of the Exec Team for the 2021-22 school year! Kyle also added Grace on Snapchat, where they casually talked throughout the summer.

Grace & Kyle continued on with their education at Iowa State and went on club trips together! This trip to Nashville they were messaging each other and shyly talking to each other in person. Though still friends, Kyle almost had the courage to ask her to dance, but rather painfully watched her dance with someone else as she was waiting for someone to rescue her... They later had a flirty talk as the guys walked some of the girls back to the hotel!

Kyle continued to have his eyes on Grace and found a way to get her help and work with her while organizing a large event for the club! She was eager to help and it was a clever way for him to guarantee she would message him back and talk with him in person! They both started to enjoy getting to know each other and even continued talking even after the event was over...

Grace & Kyle messaged each other all throughout spring break! They would have one conversation through text and another on snapchat! Then Kyle asked if Grace had ever been to Ada Hayden, a park in Ames?? She had not, so he said the next time he went, he would invite her... Grace figured that would be a future problem when it got nice! Though it ended up being nice the Monday after spring break!!

Grace & Kyle went on a "walk" together at Ada Hayden! Kyle knew if he labeled it a "date" he would probably scare Grace away! So they went on a walk together where Grace nervously talked and walked very fast! Then when Grace told Kyle at the end "We should do this again," he knew that was a good sign!

For the next month, Grace & Kyle hung out several times a week and went on official dates! Kyle even came back on Easter Sunday to meet Grace's family and go to her baptism!
