It all started July 18th, 2019 at Lake Geneva Christian Camp, when Jack asked Grace to take a picture the last night before chapel. To Grace's surprise, Jack was in a 'committed relationship'. Sometime after they met, Jack became single and took interest in Grace. That fall, they both started attending different schools in Minneapolis which opened the door for them to get to know each other better. On November 13th of 2019, they went on their first date, and 3 days later Jack asked Grace to be his girlfriend.

Throughout their 4+ years of dating, they have created many memories. These memories include late night car rides after Vespers, dating during COVID, Grace starting her full-time photography career, hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, cabin trips, countless weddings, Blumberg family vacations, running into each other in Rome, several Arizona visits, many concerts, Jack Graduating and dating long distance while he was in India for a summer.

At the end of summer 2023, Jack proposed to Grace on the morning of August 17th. Jack picked up Grace for a breakfast date. Little did she know, they were on the way to their friend's house to surprise her with flowers, champagne and a ring. She said yes!

I (Jack) have fallen in love with Grace more and more each day we have been together. She helps me be more goofy, humble, generous and artistic. I am excited to continue to push each other more toward Christ and build a God-centered marriage with her.

I (Grace) am so excited for jack to be my husband. He is truly my best friend. He makes life joyful, light, and abundant. It will be an honor to be his wife and there's no one I'd rather have as my teammate.

We cannot wait to celebrate! It has been a long time coming and we feel so grateful and supported by all of you. Bring your dancing shoes!
