Oh Noah, where do I begin...

We officially met in 9th grade ,but I started feeling drawn to him in 10th grade chemistry class. I was dating someone else at the time and with my hand on my heart I promise, it was purely fascination. He was actively playing football and golf, as well as being a member of the Student Assembly, swim team, marching band, and involved in every theater production he was allowed to audition for.

On top of his extra curricular activities this boy was brilliant, and I do not mean the type of brilliant person who has to make sure the whole room knows just how smart they are. His brain was wired differently than others and the materials came as natural as common sense to him.

He cared much more about that happened after school than during and yet still knew all the answers without any application. Noah memorized the entire periodic table by the third week of class strictly for fun... One more time, just so the point is clear, we were told that we did not need to memorize it because we would always have access to a periodic table, and still he memorized the ENTIRE table for FUN. The entire class, including Mr. Marble was astonished because again, no application just brilliance. After doing that he decided he had put in enough brain power for the semester so he halted all other homework and still made A's on every test. Ridiculous.

Obviously, he had a lasting impression on me but the same could not be said for Noah. To this day he struggles to remember me sitting behind him during that class, but for me, that just means that I loved him first! So HA!

By the end of high school, we were inseparable and even starred in our senior show together as leads, (we died consecutively, so romantic). After graduation, we both had plans for our future’s that were leading us to different states, Kentucky and Iowa to be exact. Though we did work out the distance and times that we would be able to see each other during the school year, we both knew it would logically end up being worse if we chose long distance.

Then came Eden, she is everything that we ever needed and nothing that we thought we wanted. She is a walking light for everyone to warm their hearts next to, and she is the reason that we are so blessed to be sharing our story with you. The love we have created and fostered is indescribable but it can be seen in our little girl.

We chose her first, and then have spent everyday since choosing each other. <3 Grace
