Alex and Grace met during the summer of 2023 on the outdoor volleyball court on State campus though neither of them were students of the college.
Their feelings for each other in the beginning were indifferent. Grace actually disliked Alex’s style of playing. She thought he was too serious and competitive. She did however find him attractive and that eventually won over any negative feelings she may have had towards him.
In line to get food post volleyball Grace asked Alex about his life outside of sports and learned he wanted to settle down and have children. This peaked Grace’s interest. Nothing however came of that conversation until months later. They were once again on the volleyball court and Grace walked over to greet Alex. She gave him a hug and greeting. He returned the hug with a grin on his face. Later Grace would learn Alex was suspecting Grace would make some sort of move that day on the court. He was right..I suppose.
That night while eating after an evening of volleyball Grace asked Alex if he had interest in going out swing/line dancing the next night. Alex agreed, to Grace’s surprise.
Dinner was shared between the two before their date then they were off to the down town Whiskey Rose. Alex later in the night after leaving the bar shared he didn’t have much taste for the line dancing but enjoyed swing dancing.
The morning after their first date Alex texted Grace telling her how he had enjoyed his time with her and asked if she would like to have dinner with Alex of his own preparation. She was very excited to say the least and accepted promptly. Dinner was delicious so I guess you could say the rest is history.
Both Alex and Grace are very much looking forward to learning loving and growing together in this next chapter of their lives and would be so blessed by your prayers along the way.
