Most hotels have high rates due to the holiday weekend. It would be best to book earlier rather than later. From our search, we have found that Airbnb rates in the vicinity of the venue are more reasonable than hotels. However, if you prefer a hotel, the Residence Inn listed has a block of rooms set aside for us and is within walking distance of the venue and other downtown Savannah spots.

Things to Do During Your Stay

Feeling beachy? Tybee Island is the place to go if you're wanting some sunshine and salt water. If you get hungry, we suggest Spanky's, Hucapoo's, or the Crab Shack. If you're feeling adventurous, check out the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, the Tybee Island Lighthouse, or catch a dolphin tour! The road out to Tybee also features Old Fort Pulaski, which contains hiking trails and artillery demonstrations.

Downtown Savannah

Visit Wormsloe, an 18th century estate, for an abundance of walking trails and amazing views. Take a drive down Bluff Drive for picturesque views of the Skidaway River and historic architecture. Visit Driftaway Cafe for great seafood in this area.
