Q + A

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately due to our venue only being able to accommodate a limited number of guests, we will not be approving requests to bring along additional guests. Guests given plus ones will have one attached to their RSVP.

When do minors have to leave?

Per NS liquor laws, guests under the age of 19 must leave by 9pm.

We're driving - where should we park?

We are working on getting permission to have guests park at Krown Auto across the street - this information will be shared with guests once available. That being said, we remind our guests not to drink and drive and to take a cab or Uber to the event, need be.

So everything's happening in the same room - what'll happen between the ceremony and reception?

Please bear with us as we do a quick rearrange of some seating to get ready for supper (and later, dancing!).

Can I take my own pictures during the ceremony?

Please put your phone on silent and away before the start of the ceremony, unless you want to be called out by a member of the wedding party. We encourage you to take lots of pictures during the reception, though!

How do I get up to the Mousetrap Lounge?

There will be signage on site to lead you upstairs, but don't hesitate to ask a staff member downstairs if you need help finding your way.

Do you have a registry set up anywhere?

Since we have been living together since 2016, we decided to not create a registry for home goods. While no gifts are required and we can't wait to see you on our big day, we would appreciate a contribution towards our first house fund and will have a card box set up.

What's the bar situation?

There will be a cash bar, and guests will be given a drink ticket to enjoy with their meals.

What will we be having for supper?

Our supper will be "typical" pub fare - think burgers, nachos, fries, etc. Followed by cake, of course! Please let us know in your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Is there a dress code?

We strongly encourage guests to dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire, but want everyone to be comfortable as well. Please, no jeans.
