This is a black tie wedding! So gentleman please wear a tux or your best suit and tie. Ladies, please wear your nicest dress (no white). Keep in mind this is an outdoor wedding on a lawn so it may be easier to walk around in chunky heels/ wedges rather than stilettos or thin soled shoes.

Kiawah Island is a gated community! Please drive to the guard shack and tell them you are here for the cox/huffman wedding at the ocean course. The guard shack will then give you a pass for the island if you are not staying on the island.

Staying on Kiawah island is the best option! Book either a hotel (Sanctuary or Andell inn) or a villa through the Kiawah resorts website. To use the booking code please either call or email Kiawah resorts. You can also put it in the notes section of your booking. Staying at either the sanctuary hotel or Kiawah island villa means you get access to the free shuttles around the island and additional discounts on golf/spa! You can also stay in Charleston. However, keep in mind it is about a 45 min drive from Charleston to the island.

CHS (Charleston International Airport) is the best airport to fly into! If you are coming from southern Indiana, flying out of Louisville/Nashville has direct flights. We recommend renting a car from this airport.
