Grace and Conner met at the Summitview Church College Ministry in the summer of 2024, right after Grace had moved back to Greeley after sepnding three years in Louisville, Kentucky. Conner was a small group leader in a study through the end of John, and Grace happened to end up in his group!

Throughout the course of their study, both came to deeply appreciate and admire the others knowledge of the Bible and love for God. Both Grace and Conner were very involved in the college ministry, so they saw each other and spent time with one another more evenings of the week than they didn't.

In early November, Conner ended up picking Grace up from the airport last minute and they spent a whole day together and got to know one another even better than before, leading to Conner asking Grace to date him almost exactly a week later.

During the course of their dating realtionship, they spent a lot of time with Conner's siblings and Conner's roommates. They also took a few trips to see Grace's family in Idaho so Conner could get to know them. After the second trip in May, they figured it was time to get engaged, so Conner asked for Phill's blessing on the next trip out, and a week later, Conner took a knee and proposed. Grace very enthusiastically said yes!
