Grace and Marcel met in the early Summer of 2023. In a bible study lead by Marcel, he presented an icebreaker question for the group; "What is your dream job?" Grace answered "A Professional Dog-Sitter" and Marcel answered "A National Park Ranger." This was the first time that Grace and Marcel noticed each other... even though they had attended the same church for almost two years prior to this moment.

A few awkward conversations after these weekly bible studies, and some interesting hangouts with friends lead Marcel to ask for Grace's number. He did it in the only way he knew how, by asking to send her pictures of clouds.

That was the start of what has been a wonderful, fun and sanctifying relationship. As they continued to grow closer, the Lord continued to faithfully increase their love for one another. Jesus is the image of love, and each day, Marcel and Grace learn how to love Him more. Through this, they can love one another better, striving to model the love that was shown to us on the cross.

As they look to the future, The Lord only knows what is in store for them. They await His word, and are ready to devote themselves to each other in marriage, and whatever else that He desires for them.
