Our wedding is the weekend of the Chicago Marathon, so please keep this in mind if you are joining us from out of town as the marathon is a very busy travel weekend for Chicago. We encourage you to book hotels as far in advance as possible, as hotels will book up and prices will be higher than usual. We have several hotel blocks listed below, and there are plenty of other hotels or Airbnbs in the city if you prefer to book outside of our blocks, but we encourage you to book early! The marathon is Sunday morning and typically lasts a few hours, so please plan your departures accordingly as there will be road closures downtown.
We have a room block at the Hyatt House Chicago West Loop/Fulton market which is our recommended hotel block as it's approximately 5 minutes from the venue, surrounded by amazing restaurants, and away from the path of the Chicago Marathon! Feel free to book online using the link below with code G-EIDA to get the group rate.

We recommend the Emily as it's approximately 5 minutes from the venue, also surrounded by amazing restaurants, and away from the path of the marathon! To book within this block, please use the link below or call 312-345-5336 and reference the Eichenlaub Dahlstrom wedding block. Rooms within this block cannot be booked any later than September 9, 2026.
We have a room block at the historic Palmer House hotel. Please keep in mind that this hotel is located by the path of the Chicago marathon, so please plan your departures accordingly as there will be road closures on Sunday. This hotel is located less than 15 minutes from the venue. Please book within this block using the following link: https://book.passkey.com/go/EichenlaubDahlstromWedding
We recommend flying into either Chicago O'Hare or Midway airport.
We recommend taking the L to the city if you're comfortable! Taking an Uber, Lyft, or taxi are also good options, but can take a long time depending on traffic.
Chicago O'Hare: Take the blue line from O'Hare by following signs in the airport saying "CTA/trains to city". The Grand stop will take you closest to the West Loop, and the Clark/Lake stop will take you closest to the Loop. O'Hare is the end of the blue line, so there is only one direction to go (towards Forest Park) - you can't mess it up!
Midway: Take the orange line from Midway to the Washington/Wells stop to get you closest to the Loop. Midway is the end of the orange line, so there is only one direction you can go.
Use the transit view in Apple or Google maps to determine how to best get to your specific destination via public transit.
