Simone and I met when we were 2 years old and we have been best friends ever since. We lived down the street from each other growing up, which led to many, MANY, sleepovers. We went to different colleges but still visited each other often and now living a plane ride away is very hard (separation anxiety). Simone is also my nurse bestie, working in an Emergency Department in Austin, Texas, where she lives with her fiancé, Brodey. I know Simone will be in my life forever and I am so very honored to have her stand by my side when I marry my person.

Kiera and I met in gymnastics when we were around 11/12 years old. We understood each other's humor so well that we often got in trouble at practice for laughing too much. Kiera is someone I can always rely on to be my sounding board and truly love me unconditionally. Some of our favorite memories together take place at the lake, where some stories we will be taking to our graves :) Kiera now works at one of the big 4 financial firms in Kansas City, Ernst & Young, as tax staff.

Grace and I also met in gymnastics around 10/11 years old, but we also happened to have multiple classes together in middle school. We spent most of our friendship on a trampoline or in my living room doing flips (sorry mom and dad). Our friendship is truly one of a kind and our highs and lows have strengthened our bond more than I thought possible! Grace now lives in West Des Moines with her boyfriend, Nick, and works as a bartender (a VERY good one) at a local bar. She is also going to nursing school to get her BSN/RN!

Kayla and I met in 2024, around the same time I met Zach. She is dating one of Zach's groomsmen (Brandon), and we met at a house party for Brandon's birthday. We became instant friends (literally it took 5 seconds to love each other) and she is one of my favorite humans in the world. She is the best listener and truly lights up a room! I'm thankful for her optimism and if you ever need a life of the party, she's your girl! Kayla lives in KC with her boyfriend, Brandon, as a social media coordinator at a Emery Sapp and Sons.

Olyvia and I met freshman year of college. She was actually assigned as my random roommate the dorms before she rudely decided to leave me (jk). Fate still brought us together though when we joined Alpha Chi together and ended up living together our junior and senior year. Olyvia is one of those girls that I could sit and watch movies in the rain with for days and never have a single complaint. She is now a Kindergarten teacher in Kansas City (quite literally one of the best) and I am so stinking proud!

Molly and I also met our freshman year of college when we lived down the hall from each other in our dorm. She also joined Alpha Chi, where we lived together in the house our sophomore year. We had so much fun that we decided be roommates the rest of our college lives. Molly's smile is contagious (as it should be Ms. future dentist) and she has the sweetest soul I've ever known. Her humor is one of a kind and I can always rely on her to make me laugh (whether it's laughing with her or at her). Molly lives in Chicago now where she is almost done with her doctorate in dentistry!

Jake and Zach met when they were 12 years old playing football. They were instant best friends and spent the rest of their adolescent years getting into trouble and making memories. Jake now works for the sheet metal union in Kansas City.

Zach and Zach first met a few months in to Grace and Zach dating and realized they had quite a few things in common. Zach E is the typical little brother but Grace has grown very close with him over the years and couldn’t imagine her day without him. Zach E is graduating with his bachelors in May from Drury University where he plays baseball.

Zach and Max met in undergrad while umpiring softball. They spent their college years traveling all around the country getting paid to mess around together on the fields. Max lives in Oklahoma now still umpiring and detailing cars.

Zach and Brandon (aka Boo Boo) met at a party in undergrad and bonded over beers. They grew closer when they both moved back to Kansas City following graduation and spend almost every weekend together. Brandon also happens to be dating Kayla (a bridesmaid) so they’re a package deal. Brandon works in management for a lawn and landscaping company in KC.

Tre and Zach met in second grade when they lived in the same neighborhood and played football together. They then became college roommates at Northwest. Tre is in the Army and stationed at Fort Carson outside of Denver, Colorado.

Brodey and Zach met when their girlfriends Grace and Simone forced them to become best friends. It didn’t take much work though because it turns out they’re the same person in different bodies (checks out for Grace and Simone). Brodey lives in Austin, Texas with Simone and works in construction management.

Teegan is Zach’s little sister (aka Grace’s future sister in law!). Teegan is a freshman at Grain Valley High School where she plays softball on the junior varsity team.

Millie is Zach’s other little sister (also Grace’s future sister in law!). She is in Kindergarten at Grain Valley Elementary School.
