Josh and Grace’s journey began in a way that’s become quite common these days—through a dating app. Grace, who had never used a dating app before, was amazed when, within just an hour of setting up her profile, she matched with Josh. Their connection was instant and strong, which took them both by surprise in the best way possible. Over the weekend, their conversations were never-ending. They decided to meet in person just three days later for what would be their last-first date ever. Just two days after their first in-person meeting, Josh asked Grace to be his girlfriend, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Their early relationship was marked by a series of trips that brought them closer together—visiting Kentucky, spending a week on the East Coast in December, and taking a two-week road trip up the West Coast. Each trip was an opportunity to learn more about each other and strengthen their bond. Their most memorable trip was to Glacier National Park. Josh woke everyone up at 3:30 a.m. for a six mile sunrise hike to Avalanche Lake. Grace had a feeling a proposal might be coming on this trip, but she didn’t expect it on the very first day. As they reached the lake at sunrise, Josh asked her to look through the binoculars, and when she turned around, he was down on one robo-knee. As Josh and Grace prepare to marry, they are excited to build a Christ-centered home and family. Their relationship has been a journey of growing closer to each other and to God. Despite the fast pace of their romance, they are confident that this union is part of God’s plan. They are deeply grateful for the support of their family and friends, who have played a crucial role in their lives and in shaping their partnership. Here’s to many more adventures, a lifetime of love, and a future filled with joy as they step into this new chapter together.
