His Version~

Grace and Jayden met in a math class at Millard West High School in 2016. They were seated next to each other and often got in trouble for talking throughout class. They started dating after the class ended in May 2017 and never looked back. As their relationship grew throughout the years, they practically got to grow up together as well. They went through high school and college together, helping each other find success along the way. They got engaged in Keystone, Colorado in January 2023 and are very excited to start their lives together.

Her Version~

Our story begins seven years ago in a math class. Jayden was an incredibly studious quiet kid, and Grace always got in trouble for talking too much in class. Obviously, the teacher thought it was a good idea to sit the quiet boy next to the loud girl, which worked out for Grace. Her math grade miraculously got better as soon as she was sat next to the smartest boy in class. Jayden, on the other hand, got in trouble for talking for the first time in his life. Not too long after, they were separated but still took every chance they got to work on class projects together. Everyone in the entire class knew Grace had a huge crush on Jayden, except for Jayden of course. For being so smart, he was quite slow. Fast forward six months, Jayden finally came to his senses and asked Grace on a date. The two started dating on May 26th, 2017.

After that, they were pretty much inseparable. They drove to school together, worked on homework, went to school dances, and spent every free moment hanging out. This continued until May of 2019 when Grace graduated. Like any couple, they were nervous about not living so close to each other and going to different schools. However, nothing changed. They saw each other every weekend. Jayden graduated the year after and joined Grace at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. They spent their time studying, making friends, going on vacations, and planning their future together.

As 2022 came around, Grace and Jayden knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They went ring shopping in November, where Grace found her dream ring. Once they secured the ring, Grace began to get antsy, wondering when Jayden was going to finally get on one knee. Little did she know, Jayden was already working with both sets of parents to plan out the perfect proposal in the mountains of Keystone, Colorado.

On January 6th, 2023, Jayden’s parents and the couple went to take “family photos” on Dillon Lake. While getting ready, Grace made a comment about letting her wear the ring for the family photos because they were going to be engaged soon enough. Little did she know, she was only an hour away. When they arrived at Dillon Lake, the photographer snapped a few photos of the family before suggesting going to another spot. As they made their way down a winding path, Grace sees a J and G in the snow with the most beautiful red roses right next to her parents. She instantly starts crying. Jayden gets down on one knee in the middle of the snow and asks Grace to marry him. It was the perfect proposal surrounded by our loving parents. After proposing, Jayden said Grace could wear the ring for the rest of the photos and her life.

Since the proposal, Grace and Jayden have both graduated from college, and they have started to build their dream home together, which will be done on October 21st, 2024, sixteen days after they get married in front of all their loved ones.
