Cody and Grace met for the first time in December of 2019 when Grace was home from college for Christmas break. Grace and Natalie McGehee, Grace's best friend, were at the Bomber basketball games one evening as they both had siblings on the basketball team at the time. Of course, there was Cody, the junior high basketball coach. They thought he was cute, and made it a competition of who could get his attention first... As you can see, Grace won! Haha.

Since, Cody and Grace have been together. She never forgets the first time he texted her - New Years Eve on the brink of 2020. What a year! Grace moved back to Mountain Home during COVID, because they shut down everything in Northwest Arkansas. That is where their relationship really took off.

In the summer of 2022, Cody moved to Little Rock to coach North Little Rock boys' basketball while Grace finished her last semester at the U of A. Upon graduation, Grace moved to Little Rock to take a job at Channel 7 and the rest is history!
