We are happy to announce that we are tying the knot in 2026!
We first met each other in 2019, the first weekend of college that year. We talked in a group of friends and exchanged Snapchats (yes, I know). We talked on and off for a few months, occasionally checking in on how the fall semester was going for each other.
Later on, in October, we had our first "date" where we watched a movie, and eventually Matt invited Grace to his fraternity's Halloween party. After that night, we hung out for 4 days straight!
Our first official date was at Guarino's in Little Italy, and about a week later, we started dating :)
Though things were going well, COVID-19 forced us into a long-distance relationship, and we had to navigate those challenges and work on areas of personal growth.
*pause for a brief intermission*
Fast forward to August 2021, and we reconnected after running into each other through a mutual group of friends. After staying up and talking about our relationship, we decided to take it slow and try again, and...
We have been inseparable ever since!
Grace always refers to our relationship as a pair of magnets because we found our way back to each other. We both supported each other through finishing school and saw each other graduate. We were there for each other’s highs and lows - nothing separated us!
In April of 2024, we decided to move in together, and have found the blessings in spending quality time together at home.
Then on May 23rd, 2025, Matt popped the question! After planning for months, Matt was able to fool Grace up until the big moment. When Grace realized what was happening, she promptly told Matt to "shut up," while smiling and feeling overwhelmed with happiness.
Grace said yes :)
Since then, we started wedding planning, bought a house, and are planning a trip to Italy for our honeymoon.
We look forward to an amazing 2026, and cannot wait to see you all to celebrate our love. Thank you!
