To the ceremony, please wear comfortable shoes that can withstand dirt, squirrel holes, and the occasional cowpie. Heels are strongly discouraged for the ceremony, but would be appropriate at the reception venue, if desired. Attire is western semi-formal. Cowboy hats are appropriate, but not necessary. Cowboy boots are encouraged.

The Guthrie Ranch is located approximately 40 minutes southeast of Porterville. Leaving Porterville, head south on Plano Street and continue for 17 miles until you come to the intersection in front of the Fountain Springs Saloon. Continue straight towards Glenville for 4.5 miles. After a sharp right bend in the road, be looking to the left for a reddish-brown pipe gate with a "JO" brand on it. Proceed through the gate onto the dirt road and drive for about 1 mile until you see the designated parking area on the right side of the road. Park there and prepare to be shuttled to the ceremony site.
