Our Story

We met in January 2022 while serving in the U.S. Air Force, flying the A-10 Warthog with the world-famous 25th Fighter Squadron (Pilsung!) at Osan Air Base in South Korea. While it took Grace a little time to give Tyler the time of day, Tyler noticed her right away. What began as a friendship grew stronger as we navigated the challenges and adventures of military life side-by-side. Six months after meeting, we were sent to opposite sides of the world. Grace moved to Moody Air Force Base in Georgia and Tyler to Salt Lake City to fly the F-35. Despite the distance, we stayed close, and our friendship eventually blossomed into something more. In 2023, we officially began our relationship and committed to making long distance work. Over the next few years, we traveled 75,340 miles to see one another, including a week long trip to New York, where Tyler and Grace got to see his beloved Buffalo Bills up close, and celebrating New Year’s 2025 together in Okinawa, Japan. Along the way, we also endured three deployments totaling 14 months apart. Through the distance and time apart, we learned how to communicate, trust, and find comfort in one another…proving that distance only made our bond stronger. On October 12, 2024, Tyler proposed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, while on our way to our first Tennessee football game. At a scenic overlook of the Chattanooga skyline, Tyler read Grace a handwritten letter and asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. (What you didn’t see in the photos was T’Challa safely hidden in his travel backpack.) In August 2025, we finally closed the distance when we both moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, to be stationed together at Sheppard Air Force Base. We now serve as instructors flying the Air Force’s fighter trainer, the T-38. Life together in Texas has been our favorite chapter yet, shared with our cat T’Challa and our newest addition, a red fox lab puppy named Hooter. From squadron mates to best friends to forever partners, we are endlessly grateful for the journey that brought us here. Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.

We have reserved a room block at Hampton Inn &amp; Suites Nashville-Green Hills, conveniently located midway between Downtown Nashville and the ceremony venue, Belle Meade Winery. We hope you will join us there and enjoy a comfortable stay, including free parking and free breakfast! The majority of reservations are reserved for Friday -Sunday, with a smaller number of rooms available beginning on Thursday. Guests wishing to arrive earlier or stay longer can easily adjust the dates on the hotel website or can contact the hotel directly to extend the stay. Please use the link below, along with the Group Code, to book at the discounted rate. Rooms will be released on April 23rd, so we recommend booking as soon as you can. We know most of you coming to our special day will be traveling from out of state, and we are so grateful that you will be there. We did our best to choose a location where Uber and Lyft are both easily accessible.

UBER & LYFT

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided for our guests. The shuttle will run between the Hampton Inn - Green Hills and Belle Meade Historic Site from 4:00PM until 11:00PM. The first shuttle will be in place at the Hampton Inn-Green Hills at 4:00PM. It will make several trips between locations prior to the ceremony start time. The shuttle will remain on-site at Belle Meade until the end of the evening. We would love for you to celebrate with us until our send-off at 10:30PM, but we understand everyone has different needs. Guests can utilize the shuttle to depart the venue at any point throughout the evening.
