"What's meant to be will always find a way." The both of us knew each other throughout elementary school and high school. We actually dated in high school for a short time, but the both of us went separate ways after a while and stayed friends! Jake went off to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and I studied Nursing at Alvernia University not having much contact with each other. Once Jake graduated from Thaddeus Stevens he decided to join the United States Air Force. Jake was sent to San Antonio, Texas, and was gone for almost a year. December of 2021, is when Jake came home! This is around the time, the two of us decided we were better together! I had three more semesters of school left to go and Jake started working for the Lebanon VA Hospital. We had to juggle a long-distance relationship at times, and Jake had to deal with me stressing 24/7 over my big tests for Nursing school lol! I definitely wouldn't have made it through school if it wasn't for Jake's support. After graduation we started renting a house from my Uncle Jon on a farm property in Tower City, and Jake surprised me with a puppy, who most of you know as Huk! A year later the two of us had the opportunity to buy a house in Tower City, and are still in the process of remodeling! We are beyond excited to celebrate the love we have for each other on our big day surrounded by the people we love!
