Getting to Shreveport
 
There are several options for those traveling from out of town and planning on flying.
 
Option 1: Flying into Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV). Flying into SHV Airport may be the most expensive but the most convenient option. SHV Airport usually requires a layover from the original destination in Dallas, Charlotte, or Atlanta.
 
Option 2: Flying into Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL). Dallas Fort Worth will likely be the cheaper option and requires the traveler (s) to drive about 3 hours to the hotel accommodations. Dallas Love Field Airport is exclusively a Southwest Airport. For those who fly primarily Southwest, you will be landing at DAL not DFW. Both Dallas Airports will require renting a car to get to Shreveport.
 
Option 3: The Bill & Hilary Clinton Airport in Little Rock Arkansas (LIT). This is a wildcard option, but sometimes flights run into LIT at an affordable price. Little Rock, Arkansas is still about a 3-hour drive from Shreveport, and this option will require renting a car.
 
DISCLAIMER: Please do not book your flight into New Orleans Airport (MSY). New Orleans is about a 5.5-hour drive from Shreveport. Unless you plan on vacationing in New Orleans before or after the wedding we recommend you do not fly into New Orleans due to the long commute.
