What will the weather be like this time of year?

The average temperature for July in Wisconsin is 82 degrees and often humid.

Are the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the same place?

Yes, they are all on the same property.

Is there free parking at the venue?

Yes, there is a large parking lot in front of the venue for guests and accessibility parking and entrance around the back of the venue.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outside. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

Are there nearby accommodations?

For out of state and international guests please reach out to the bride for the accommodation details.

If we are flying in, how should we get around?

There will be carpools from the airport available. The venue/accommodations are in the middle of nowhere so there is no public transportation or rideshares like Uber available. There will be carpools available. If carpools are not your style or you want to be able to go farther at will we recommend checking out the car rental options at the Milwaukee airport, we recommend Enterprise.

Could you suggest places to see while I am in town for your wedding?

We encourage you walk around the little nearby towns of Random Lake, Adell, Batavia, Silver Creek, Waldo and more. Random Lake has a beach for swimming and fishing. There are several state parks nearby for hiking and other activities like Long Lake, Kohler Andra State Park, Harrington Beach and so many more. Check out the things to do page for more details.

Could you suggest places to eat and drink while I am in town for your wedding?

Some family favorites are Greg's Tap in Adell (try the fried chicken!), The Random Lake Pizzaria (get a cheese ring or the homemade Nice cream!), Waldo Cafe in Waldo, Roadside Bar & Grill in Plymouth and you have to get fresh cheese and ice cream from Cedar Valley Cheese Store in Belgium! Check out the things to do page for more details.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes, please do! We ask you include them when you RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

No there is a cash only cash bar. There is an ATM on site next to the bar.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

As the couple is flying in for the wedding, please send all gifts directly to the couple's apartment and please make sure to indicate who they are from.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Please arrive by 3:45pm. All guests are to be seated by 3:55 so we can promptly start at 4:00pm.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Yes, we are having a cocktail hour during this time with drinks and appetizers in the bar/hall.

Are we having a rehearsal dinner?

No, there will be a pre-wedding BBQ the night before. We will be grilling, and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish or beverage to share. This is a casual event. Further details to come.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Yes, however no flash or loud camera clicks allowed at the ceremony. Guests are not to leave their seats to take photos at the ceremony or interfere with the professional teams hired to capture the day.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

After the ceremony yes, but please use the hashtag and don't forget to add them to the shared photo folder using the QR code that will be posted at the wedding.
