We&nbsp;began&nbsp;our&nbsp;journey&nbsp;together&nbsp;in&nbsp;college,&nbsp;but&nbsp;our&nbsp;story&nbsp;actually&nbsp;started&nbsp;long&nbsp;before&nbsp;that.&nbsp;We&nbsp;first&nbsp;met&nbsp;in&nbsp;elementary&nbsp;school,&nbsp;and&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;there&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;discovered&nbsp;something&nbsp;magical—we&nbsp;shared&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;birthday.&nbsp;Though&nbsp;we&nbsp;lived&nbsp;more&nbsp;than&nbsp;30&nbsp;minutes&nbsp;apart,&nbsp;we&nbsp;made&nbsp;sure&nbsp;to&nbsp;see&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;as&nbsp;often&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;could,&nbsp;never&nbsp;letting&nbsp;a&nbsp;day&nbsp;go&nbsp;by&nbsp;without&nbsp;being&nbsp;close.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;love&nbsp;grew&nbsp;quickly,&nbsp;deeply,&nbsp;and&nbsp;effortlessly,&nbsp;and&nbsp;from&nbsp;that&nbsp;moment&nbsp;on,&nbsp;we’ve&nbsp;been&nbsp;inseparable,&nbsp;writing&nbsp;our&nbsp;own&nbsp;timeless&nbsp;love&nbsp;story. But&nbsp;just&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;thought&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;story&nbsp;would&nbsp;unfold&nbsp;without&nbsp;interruption,&nbsp;something&nbsp;unexpected&nbsp;happened.&nbsp;One&nbsp;night,&nbsp;under&nbsp;the&nbsp;dim&nbsp;glow&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;moon,&nbsp;a&nbsp;shadow&nbsp;loomed&nbsp;over&nbsp;us.&nbsp;A&nbsp;dragon—yes,&nbsp;a&nbsp;dragon—appeared,&nbsp;breathing&nbsp;fire&nbsp;and&nbsp;threatening&nbsp;to&nbsp;tear&nbsp;us&nbsp;apart.&nbsp;It&nbsp;wasn’t&nbsp;just&nbsp;a&nbsp;creature&nbsp;of&nbsp;myth;&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;force&nbsp;of&nbsp;chaos&nbsp;and&nbsp;destruction,&nbsp;a&nbsp;symbol&nbsp;of&nbsp;every&nbsp;fear,&nbsp;doubt,&nbsp;and&nbsp;obstacle&nbsp;that&nbsp;stood&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;way&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;love. The&nbsp;dragon,&nbsp;in&nbsp;all&nbsp;its&nbsp;fury,&nbsp;represented&nbsp;the&nbsp;world’s&nbsp;resistance&nbsp;to&nbsp;our&nbsp;bond.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;an&nbsp;ancient&nbsp;creature,&nbsp;ancient&nbsp;as&nbsp;time&nbsp;itself,&nbsp;guarding&nbsp;the&nbsp;space&nbsp;between&nbsp;us,&nbsp;whispering&nbsp;doubts&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;ears&nbsp;and&nbsp;telling&nbsp;us&nbsp;that&nbsp;love&nbsp;like&nbsp;ours&nbsp;couldn’t&nbsp;survive.&nbsp;But&nbsp;we&nbsp;refused&nbsp;to&nbsp;let&nbsp;it&nbsp;win.&nbsp;Together,&nbsp;we&nbsp;fought—each&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;wielding&nbsp;the&nbsp;strength&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;as&nbsp;our&nbsp;weapon,&nbsp;our&nbsp;hearts&nbsp;burning&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;fire&nbsp;hotter&nbsp;than&nbsp;the&nbsp;dragon's&nbsp;breath.&nbsp;We&nbsp;battled&nbsp;not&nbsp;just&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;love,&nbsp;but&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;future&nbsp;we&nbsp;knew&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;meant&nbsp;to&nbsp;have. And&nbsp;after&nbsp;what&nbsp;felt&nbsp;like&nbsp;an&nbsp;eternity&nbsp;of&nbsp;struggle,&nbsp;we&nbsp;defeated&nbsp;the&nbsp;beast,&nbsp;watching&nbsp;as&nbsp;it&nbsp;vanished&nbsp;into&nbsp;the&nbsp;night,&nbsp;its&nbsp;smoke&nbsp;swirling&nbsp;into&nbsp;nothingness.&nbsp;In&nbsp;the&nbsp;aftermath,&nbsp;we&nbsp;stood&nbsp;together,&nbsp;battered&nbsp;but&nbsp;victorious,&nbsp;knowing&nbsp;that&nbsp;no&nbsp;force—no&nbsp;matter&nbsp;how&nbsp;fearsome—could&nbsp;ever&nbsp;break&nbsp;what&nbsp;we&nbsp;shared.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;love&nbsp;had&nbsp;survived&nbsp;the&nbsp;impossible,&nbsp;and&nbsp;now,&nbsp;nothing&nbsp;would&nbsp;ever&nbsp;stand&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;way&nbsp;again.

How We Met

We&nbsp;embarked&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;memorable&nbsp;road&nbsp;trip,&nbsp;cruising&nbsp;from&nbsp;Sacramento&nbsp;to&nbsp;Florida,&nbsp;with&nbsp;plenty&nbsp;of&nbsp;exciting&nbsp;stops&nbsp;along&nbsp;the&nbsp;way.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;journey&nbsp;took&nbsp;us&nbsp;through&nbsp;vibrant&nbsp;cities&nbsp;like&nbsp;Las&nbsp;Vegas,&nbsp;Albuquerque,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Roswell,&nbsp;before&nbsp;picking&nbsp;up&nbsp;our&nbsp;friends&nbsp;Jacob&nbsp;and&nbsp;Sue&nbsp;in&nbsp;Shreveport.&nbsp;From&nbsp;there,&nbsp;we&nbsp;continued&nbsp;to&nbsp;Tallahassee&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;to&nbsp;Spring&nbsp;Hill,&nbsp;where&nbsp;we&nbsp;spent&nbsp;time&nbsp;with&nbsp;Danny's&nbsp;family.&nbsp;We&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;a&nbsp;peaceful&nbsp;two-night&nbsp;stay&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;coast&nbsp;in&nbsp;Melbourne.&nbsp;On&nbsp;the&nbsp;way&nbsp;back,&nbsp;we&nbsp;retraced&nbsp;our&nbsp;steps,&nbsp;stopping&nbsp;in&nbsp;Shreveport&nbsp;to&nbsp;drop&nbsp;off&nbsp;Jacob&nbsp;and&nbsp;Sue,&nbsp;then&nbsp;staying&nbsp;in&nbsp;El&nbsp;Paso,&nbsp;Tucson,&nbsp;and&nbsp;San&nbsp;Diego.&nbsp; The&nbsp;highlight&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;trip&nbsp;came&nbsp;on&nbsp;our&nbsp;last&nbsp;night&nbsp;in&nbsp;San&nbsp;Diego.&nbsp;After&nbsp;a&nbsp;lovely&nbsp;dinner,&nbsp;we&nbsp;strolled&nbsp;along&nbsp;the&nbsp;beach,&nbsp;and&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;beautiful,&nbsp;unexpected&nbsp;moment,&nbsp;Danny&nbsp;set&nbsp;the&nbsp;leftovers&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;bench&nbsp;and&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;Grace. Throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;journey,&nbsp;we&nbsp;created&nbsp;unforgettable&nbsp;memories—facing&nbsp;a&nbsp;heatwave&nbsp;in&nbsp;Vegas,&nbsp;marveling&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Grand&nbsp;Canyon,&nbsp;savoring&nbsp;delicious&nbsp;food,&nbsp;navigating&nbsp;the&nbsp;challenges&nbsp;of&nbsp;being&nbsp;bilingual&nbsp;in&nbsp;El&nbsp;Paso,&nbsp;and&nbsp;most&nbsp;of&nbsp;all,&nbsp;enjoying&nbsp;the&nbsp;company&nbsp;of&nbsp;good&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;trip&nbsp;filled&nbsp;with&nbsp;laughter,&nbsp;love,&nbsp;and&nbsp;plenty&nbsp;of&nbsp;relaxation.
