It all began at an IHOP on January 23, 2018. At least, that was their first date. But actually, Grace and Luke have known each other since their very first middle school science class in sixth grade.

While they knew of one another, they didn't talk much in those many years of knowing each other before that day. But if you know anything about Luke, this may not surprise you. And if you know anything about Grace, you know their sparse conversations weren't from lack of trying.

Finally, during their junior year of high school, the two were brought together (thanks to some very persistent mutual friends) and the rest is history!

After high school, Luke and Grace attended Ohio University together, where Luke studied mechanical engineering, and Grace studied wildlife biology. On Valentine's Day of their senior year, Luke popped the question, and, of course, Grace said yes!
