Allisynn Powell - Maid of Honor
My chummy, my twin, my best friend. I met Allisynn in Alpha Chi freshman year and we've been inseparable (except the 1600 miles between Nashville and Scottsdale) ever since. They always say marry your best friend, and Allisynn and Ernie are the exact same human, so much so it actually scares me. I quite literally wouldn't be here without her since she's the reason I met Ernie. She has been my shoulder to cry on, hand to hold, and my laugh so hard your stomach hurts bestie, I couldn't imagine this day without her by my side.
Alex Thompson - Best Man
I met Alex when we were freshman in college in Chicago. We met on the train to football practice and became immediate friends despite all the chaos (we have stories for days). We moved out of our separate dorms and into an apartment together a month into school. I knew Alex would be my best man from that moment on. Since then, the two of us have been inseparable. We've been there for each other for all our major moments in life, from Alex's wedding to moving to Nashville and now my own wedding. I hardly have any memories that don't include Alex (and his wife Jenna). My wedding day truly wouldn't be complete without him next to me.
Kelsey Pauley - Bridesmaid
My biggest cheerleader, supporter and hype woman. Everyone needs a Kelsey in their life. I met Kelsey at Mizzou freshman year, and she's remained a best friend for the past 13 years. She’s always there for me whether I need a heart to heart or have the newest pop culture drama and everything in between. She’s the friend you know you can call in the middle of the night and she’d be there for you. We've done a lot of life together, from living together, to girls' trips, to standing by her on her wedding day. She's been there for so many life moments of mine, big and small and I can't wait to have her with my on my own wedding day!
Mitchell Tuffey - Groomsman
26 years. Mitch is the longest relationship I've ever had. We met in kindergarten and are now going on our 27th year of friendship. Mitch has been there through every phase of my life, no matter where either of us are, nothing ever changes between us. Whether it's watching sports, drinking beers (ask Mitch about the app), or coming up with stupid nicknames, we never run out of things to do together. Mitch is the most loyal friend you could ever ask for; he will always be the Bert to my Ernie.
Clara Goshgarian - Bridesmaid
My sweetest sister. She is smart, kind, and talented and all the things you would want in a sister and friend. She's also the only one who ever listens to me or even hears me when I am speaking (the struggle of a family of 6), you can catch me constantly looking at her like an episode of the office. She has welcomed the idea of having a brother with open arms, despite it just being us girls for our whole lives. I'm so excited and grateful to have her calming spirit, and sneaky sense of humor throughout this whole process.
Anderson Beres - Groomsman
Anderson and I have been best friends since middle school. Ando is the friend I always go to when I need a deep philosophical discussion or to watch a stupid lifetime movie. Anderson is my favorite person to meet up with, with no plans, but somehow, it always turns into a memorable day. Anderson and I hardly go a day without talking, even when he moved to France. My wedding wouldn't be complete without his goofy antics and inevitable emotional heart to heart at the end of the night.
Lili Goshgarian - Bridesmaid
The sassy to Clara's sweet. The family's comedic relief and the definition of a strong independent woman. She's a constant reminder to love myself as I am and supporting the woman I've become. It means so much to me that she and Ernie have formed their own bond, even if it's over bad scary movies, that we all must suffer through together. Most importantly she's always there to say "as you should" to all my insane rants and ideas.
Connor Treptow - Groomsman
You'll be able to understand why Connor is one of my best friends the moment you meet him. He might be one of the kindest people you'll ever meet and immediately treat you like a friend. Mitch started bringing Connor around and he quickly became a best friend. Connor is one of the most supportive people I know and is always there to hype me up. I'm not sure anyone believes in me more than Connor. He recently became a girl dad, and I know some of that energy now must go to his daughter, but there's no doubt I can still always count on him.
Caroline Goshgarian - Bridesmaid
In true youngest sister fashion, she's a little smarter, a little funnier, and a little cooler than I am. My littlest sister who always keeps life interesting and always has a story to tell. She was my assigned buddy at birth despite the age difference. Some of my favorite memories are driving Caroline around when she was younger. While she sang the lyrics, she shouldn't be singing to the songs I shouldn't have been playing. But I like to think I inspired her continued scream singing that you will definitely see on our wedding day.
Jack Kegermann - Groomsman
Rooms Magooms! My friendship with Jack really grew when he moved to Nashville, and we lived together until I met Grace. Speaking of, Jack is the reason that we met. He was friends with Allisynn, Grace's maid of honor, he invited me to brunch with them one day and you know the rest of the story. Jack and I have been through a lot together, including taking the stand to talk about my pet hedgehog (yes, we got sued, yes, we won). Even though we don't live together anymore, our friendship never wavers. Hard to believe went from being bachelor's together to both getting married in the same year. Nobody brings the party like Jack!
Meg Kubacki - Bridesmaid
Meg was the first best friend I ever had. She's in my very first and some of my very favorite memories. We spent our summers growing up together, battled the awkward middle school years together, side bangs and all, and then somehow became adults together. She just had a little girl of her own, and I can't wait for our kids to grow up together the same way we did, knowing that you'll always have a best friend by your side. For the past 30 years I've known Meg would be standing next to me on my wedding day, making just one more memory to add to the list.
Jenna Thompson - Groomswoman
FROM ERNIE: Ever since I met Jenna, we've always joked about how I have to marry someone that she can be best friends with, and I'm finally making good on that promise. While Jenna may technically be Alex's wife, we're more like a throuple. Jenna and I share a passion for merch, concerts, and being anxious all the time. J is my biggest emotional supporter, and the first person I go to when times are tough. Jenna and Grace have become best friends, but I always knew I would win the battle for having her on my side of the wedding party. I couldn't ask for a better friend than Jenna, and she better not make me cry during her speech (like I did to her on her wedding day)! FROM GRACE: My swiftie soul sister. One of the biggest blessings that Ernie brought to my life was Jenna as a built-in best friend. She's as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside and she's spent the last 3 years by my side as my emotional support friend & enabling my addictions to Taylor Swift, canned cocktails, and concert merch. Even though Ernie won her in the battle for wedding parties, I couldn't be more excited to have her with me to celebrate this day!
Annie Hudson - Bridesmaid
Even though Annie is my aunt, she's always been more like the older sister I never had. She tortured me like a sister and loved me like a sister. She made me eat applesauce mixed in spaghetti-o's when we were little but also traveled down to Florida to watch my gymnastics competitions. She's always ready to turn any ordinary day into a party and turn any party into karaoke night. She has always been someone I've looked up to for so many reasons and having her with me on my wedding day means the world to me.
Katrina Valente - Groomswoman
Despite what I said earlier, I've known Katrina the longest, literally since the day I was born. While my sister and I have not always been the best of friends, she's always been the best sister I could ask for. Even though she bullied me, and pushed me down when I was learning to walk, I would always be there for her in a heartbeat. There was never a doubt in my mind that when my wedding day came, she would be standing up there with me. Between her wedding and mine, I'll be up to 5 sisters, but Katrina will always be my first and my favorite.
Ellie Valente - Flower Pup
Ernie adopted Ellie when he moved back to Tennessee. Despite Ellie being the number one woman in Ernie's life, Grace fell in love with her immediately (as everyone does). She's the best dog in the world, from 8-hour road trips, to cheez its and naps on the couch. Despite the little ball of anxiety she is, she'll be walking down the aisle with us on wedding day.
Sam Valente - Ellie Whisperer
Sam was the first person my sister dated that I didn't hate. When they got married, I was so happy to add another sister to my family. Sam has been a great addition to our family and most importantly has been great to my sister. The first time Grace and I went to Milwaukee and stayed with Katrina and Sam, the 4 of us stayed up for hours and had so much fun together. We knew Sam needed to be a part of the wedding day, so we gave her the best job of all, taking care of Ellie and walking her down the aisle.
John Hugh "Hank" Hardwick III - Ring Bearer
Ernie knows there is only one man he competes with for my heart. My little Hank. Hank came into my life 6 years ago as a little miracle and it's been such an honor to watch him grow. I've known from very early on in Hank's life that I wanted to be there for all his major moments, and I'm so overjoyed for him to be a part of mine. The only man who will willingly watch housewives with me and rivals my love for naps. My guy loves music so watch out for his dance moves as he rides his whip down the aisle.
Ben Primes - Usher
I met Ben my sophomore year of college when I transferred to Rhodes. Being on the same football team made us friends, but we got even closer when we lived together. We lived together for most of my time in Memphis and have had countless trips to Taco Bell, late night conversations, and hours complaining about early morning practices. Ben has always been there for me and supported me, even in my most difficult times. Ben and his wife Abby were like my parents for a while and now they have a child of their own, who is probably a lot easier to take care of than I was. Even though we don't see each other as much anymore, I know Ben will be there for me no matter what.
Anna Hardwick - Flower Girl
Nobody tell Anna that she's not marrying Ernie at this wedding. She's Hank's younger sister and has become such a big part of both of our lives. She is sassy, and smart and the kindest little soul. She brings the average cuteness factor of the wedding way up and I fully know she will steal the spotlight while she walks with Ellie down the aisle.
Landon Jones - Usher
Landon is truly one of a kind. He's from deep in Louisiana, he loves to hunt, fish, and wear his Xtratuf boots, but is still one of the kindest and most down to earth people I know. I have some of the craziest stories with Landon, and also have had some of the deepest conversations with him. He and Ben inspired my love for LSU, just like I inspired them to be Blackhawks fans. Landon is one of the toughest and strongest people I know, and always pushes everyone around him to be better. But don't be fooled by all these kind words, I know Landon's ready to bring the wild Chalmette spirit to our wedding.
Jackson Pauley - Officiant
Grace met Jackson years ago when he fell in love with her best friend Kelsey. When Grace and Ernie started dating, Jackson was always one of their biggest supporters and cheered them on through their relationship even before he actually met Ernie. When the topic of officiant came up Jackson was the first person Grace and Ernie thought of. They knew he would be the perfect balance of entertaining and sentimental, and they couldn't think of a better person to marry them.
