We first met in the Middle East when Dilip was serving in ministry! Grace and her team came on a week long mission's trip to Dilip's city and the sparks started for Dilip... not for Grace yet.

For four months, we called once a week while Grace was living in NYC and Dilip was still living in the Middle East. With a 9 hour time difference, busy lives, many calls, texts, and voice memos later, Grace was finally feeling small sparks.

Dilip returned from the Middle East and a few days later he couldn't wait to visit Grace in NYC. After a day together Grace's sparks finally started flying and we started dating!

We got to spend Vision Conference together before Dilip moved to Orlando for his first year on Cru Staff. The real test of long-distance dating began!

Grace spent a summer in Orlando taking seminary classes and we got our first taste of being in the same city.

Dilip moved to NYC to be in the same city as Grace! This was so important for us to be living in the same city as we thought about the future and marriage.

We got engaged! On the rooftop of Dilip's apartment he popped the question to Grace. One of the most special days for us!

We will get to spend the rest of our lives together and starting our new chapter as the Aarons in NYC!
