August 12th, 2017.

The weather report indicated a cool, summer evening. You all know the type - a thin flimsy sweatshirt keeps you just warm enough, but the shorts are out to balance the heat that still penetrates the early fall air. What the weatherman missed, however, was love in the air. It was this night that Sean and Grace met at Frankford Hall, a quaint establishment set in the heart of Fishtown, Philadelphia. Through chance and circumstance, Sean laid eyes on Grace, and when hers locked with his, a fire was ignited in both their hearts that spurred a series of events that will culminate on October 5th, 2024 when they lock eyes one last time before they say "I Do:"

It was a puppy love at the start. Sean was head over heels for this pistol named Grace Massimino. Dozens of sushi dinners and movie nights would pass before they both chose to secure their relationship and make themselves official a few weeks prior to Valentine's Day, 2018.

Grace and Sean saw a kindred spirit in one another. Both coming from large families, rooted in strong values and companionship, it was easy to settle in with each other's relatives and friends. From this familiarity came a feeling of comfort and security, where they both felt at home in each other's company.

During the tumultuous times of Covid, Sean and Grace strengthened this bond by choosing to spend even more time with one another, while also keeping their time in person limited to family and close friends. This was the ultimate test, where the resolve of their love and friendship was tested, but never broken.

Not long after, the decision was made to begin building a life together. They soon moved in together in Conshohocken, eloquently named after the Lenape word "Kanshi'hak'ing", meaning "pleasant valley". From this pleasant valley, their love was taken to the next step when on September 30, 2023, a proposal to share a life of love together was made. And from there, the rest is history!
