We are so grateful to have so many of our nearest and dearest traveling great distances to celebrate our special day. The Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the closest major airport, and is roughly 70 miles away from St. Simons Island. A smaller airport is located in Brunswick, GA (BQK), which is roughly 20 miles from St. Simons Island.

Guest parking is not available at the locations of our ceremony or reception. Shuttle transportation will be provided between the event locations and the Hampton Inn where our room block is located and the closest public parking lot, located at Coast Guard Station - Public Beach Access #27. Guests may choose to use the provided shuttle transportation, stay in a rental within a walkable distance, or arrange their own transportation that would not require parking.

St Simons Island is home to a variety of unique hotels at a range of price points that offer opportunities to explore different parts of the Island. We have reserved a room block at the Hampton Inn on St. Simons Island, listed below. Mention the "Meagher & Johnsen Wedding" when booking to access the special event rate we secured, subject to availability.

There are also a number of private residences available for rent via Airbnb and VRBO on St. Simons Island, which may be more economical when shared among multiple attending parties. We recommend rentals in the East Beach neighborhood for the most convenient proximity. Reach out to Sam or Grace for specific recommendations.
