Our love story started just over a year before we actually started dating. Logan might deny it, but it was love at first sight for him that first night we hung out our sophomore/junior year of high school. Of course, Grace did not make it easy for Logan and played a little hard to get and finally Grace gave him a little hint that she would be "okay" with him asking her to date. It did not take long for Logan as he asked shortly after on March 1st of 2017. I guess we can thank Logan for his stubbornness for continuing our forever.

Logan and Grace then both went and graduated from Iowa State University and moved in together shortly after. Although we may have been engaged sooner, Grace made Logan wait again. Grace started a nursing program in January of 2023 and told Logan he could propose only after she finished school. Logan did just that and a short 2 weeks after graduation, Logan proposed in the most sweet, surprising and intimate way on Christmas Eve where it was just us in our home. Nearly 7 years later, but it was the easiest "YES" yet!
