Our Wedding

Grace and Louis first crossed paths in the fall of 2018 while working at Governor Livingston High School. Technically, their very first encounter was during an after-school coaches’ meeting in the auditorium, where Louis happened to notice her from across the room 😉 At the time, they were both working as 1:1 paraprofessionals in Special Education. Ironically, the students they supported often stopped to chat in the hallway, giving Grace and Louis plenty of chances to say hello!

How They Met

2 years later, in the Fall of 2020, during the COVID-19 shutdown, Grace and Louis crossed paths again. They began as Facebook friends, and then Grace swiftly followed him on Instagram. That same day happened to be Louis' birthday, and Grace took the opportunity herself to slide into his DMs to wish him a happy birthday. Little did they know that is where it all began! They soon exchanged phone numbers and talked nonstop 24/7 every single day.Grace and Louis quickly grew from good friends to best friends, finding out they have so much in common, including sports, family dynamics, and overall outlook on life and life goals. Their personalities meshed perfectly.When they finally hung out for the first time (on the night of Grace's 27th birthday), they were inseparable.

When It Really Started

This was our first picture as a couple! A trip to Peddler's Village, that quickly became a yearly tradition. We love to go there during Christmas time to see the beautiful lights!

Baseball is so important to us -- our first trip to Pittsburgh in July 2022! Wouldn't be fulfilled if we didn't sit on the Clemente wall!

Jon Langston! IYKYK. Our favorite Country Music artist! If you haven't heard him, you'll hear plenty of him on our Wedding Day :) We have met him numerous times, and he always manages to recognize Lou's face in a crowd!

Our first trip to Nashville, TN! It was AMAZING. We can't wait to go back again, hopefully soon! This picture was taken right outside of the Country Music Hall of Fame!

Our first rodeo in June 2022... in New Jersey! Cowtown Rodeo! The longest-running weekly professional rodeo in the United States, established in 1929!

Grace and Abby have been best friends since 2001 and, in many ways, have been sisters ever since. They grew up sharing family vacations in Hilton Head Island and Florida, endless days outside on the Hollow with the neighborhood, playing capture the flag, ALL sports, and biking everywhere around town. Through all of it, they became each other’s constant and strongest support system-- a bond that remains just as strong today. High school was filled with more concerts than they can count, with Warped Tour 2008 taking the crown. After graduating from GL together, their friendship remained close with countless Lehigh visits. Their lifelong friendship truly makes this role feel like a natural fit as Matron of Honor.

Abby Lechner

Grace and Corinne have been close “sisters” since they met at the start of Grace and Louis’ relationship in 2020. From day one, their bond has been built on similar interests, laughter, and showing up for one another. They have become one of each other’s go-to people, celebrating so many successes and life accomplishments and offering support when it’s needed most. Grace and Corinne have built so many amazing memories together, from mall trips and shopping THE sale at the Wildwood Convention Center to Juice House runs, summer vacations in Wildwood, and more country concerts than anyone could count. Their connection feels like family, rooted in shared experiences, trust, and unwavering support. Grace can’t wait to “officially” have a sister very soon.

Corinne Clemente

Grace and Bri have been best friends since elementary school at Deerfield, growing up a block away from each other. They grew up playing soccer, softball, and later running track together at GL! A lot of their core memories came from the endless hours of miles that they would run daily in the Watchung Reservation with one another during the winter and spring track seasons. As Bri and Grace continued their athletic careers in college, they continued to run daily together in the summer before showing up to preseason, talking about literally everything under the sun. Grace and Bri have remained very close and have been a part of so many life milestones for each other!

Bri Martinez

Grace and Jenna formed a strong bond while coaching at GL for multiple seasons from 2017 to 2020, even celebrating a state championship win together in 2018! With birthdays just a day apart, it’s like they've always shared a telepathic connection. Grace and Jenna share so many similar interests, enjoy going to USWNT and Gotham soccer games, playing in adult soccer leagues together, and grabbing an acai bowl from The Juice House.  Grace and Jenna have always shared the same love and passion for soccer! As their coaching paths changed over time, they both remained close over the years and leaned closely on one another whenever it was needed most.

Jenna Stickle

Eric and Louis have been best friends for ten years, but originally met at Roselle Catholic High School together. Their strong friendship has been built on countless good times watching sports, enjoying great food, and surrounding themselves with even better company. This includes random fishing outings, beach trips, and impromptu day trips to Talercios! Their shared interests and identical sense of humor have kept their bond just as close today as it was from the very beginning, truly meant to be his Best Man.

Eric Hostettler

Louis has known Nick his entire life—they’re cousins, after all. Despite their five-year age difference, they’ve always shared a strong bond. Their connection is rooted in family values and a whole lot of sports—baseball, basketball, football, and now even NASCAR, just to name a few. They’ve always had each other’s backs, growing up more like brothers than cousins, a bond that’s carried so well into their adulthood together.

Nick Clemente

Louis and RJ have been best friends since playing baseball together at Rutgers University. After two years as teammates at RU, they remained close, continuing to bond over baseball, football, and anything Rutgers sports–related. Their friendship has always been rooted in loyalty, mutual support, and having each other’s backs through every season of life. That bond has only grown stronger over the years and is something they both truly value.

RJ Devish

Louis and Tyler have been friends since 1997, when they first met at St. Michael’s School in Union and stayed close through their graduation from Roselle Catholic. A major part of their childhood was spent playing flag football together and winning the Little League Championship at both the U11 and U12 levels. As Louis and Tyler got older, they continued to hang out frequently, often enjoying eating good wings and ribs just like they did when they were kids. Their families spent countless hours together at sporting events, school basketball games, and Super Bowl parties.
