Our Story

Picture of Our Story

Brendan and I had our first date in the late fall of November 2021. We connected amongst friends on Halloween and we were inseparable from then on. Our first date was at Six strings bar in Foxboro Massachusetts. He was living in his hometown of Bedford NH at the time and was heading close to my area for a Soccer game at Gillette stadium. Brendan knew he wanted to see me too and quickly planned a date with me. The moment our first date wrapped up we knew this was special. He headed off to the game and I drove to my nearest friend to rave about him. From there on out we hung out every single weekend switching who was driving to New Hampshire or who was driving to Rhode Island. We made incredible memories meeting our friends and families in the early days. Not long after beginning dating, Brendan was given an incredible opportunity to move to Kentucky to work his dream job, baseball and marketing mixed together more hands on. It was early days but I knew I wanted to be with him wherever he was. He told me he was going to be moving and I immediately asked to join! After six months of long distance I joined him down in Maysville. From there we have made our beautiful little house a home and made incredible friends in the Cincinnati area through his recreational baseball team. Now we've been growing an amazing life together in our little townhouse oasis and coming back to New England every chance we can. February 2nd 2025 we went on a family vacation to St Lucia in the Caribbean with his entire immediate family. I thought it was to initially celebrate his parents retiring amongst many other things the family had to celebrate, but Brendan wanted to add an engagement to the list! In secret months before our trip he began ring hunting and asked my parents permission to marry me Christmas morning 2024. We finally made it to our hotel and immediately after getting ready for our first big family dinner there he popped the question. I was so incredibly overwhelmed with excitement and couldn't even wait for my phone to get international service before I called everyone I could! We spent the entire trip celebrating and having a blast! Planning our wedding to happen in Connecticut has been so much fun. It was the easiest decision to make the best day of our lives happen back in New England where it all began. I cannot wait to officially join the Kelliher family and hope you can join us in our upcoming big day!
