Our Wedding

<p>Grace and Jordan first met in 4th grade where they both attended Calvin Christian School. Growing up together and being a part of a small class of 30 students, they quickly became close friends freshman year of high school when they both competed in cross country and track and field. Practice became a favorite part of everyday for the both of them as it meant more time to laugh and spend time together. It wasn't long before Jordan was skipping football practice to watch Grace run races and Grace was working Jordan's name into every conversation. High school was coming to an end and they decided to both go to college in Colorado, Jordan at Colorado Mesa University and Grace at Colorado State University (a casual five hour drive apart). Long distance was difficult on their relationship and Jordan transferred to University of Northern Colorado to be closer to his girl (one of many large romantic gestures). As both of them grappled with difficult life decisions and finding their footing in the world, they made the heartbreaking decision to part ways. It seemed no matter how hard they both tried to accomplish their goals while growing together, there was a need for time to grow as individuals. Three years, a few different jobs, dating experiences, and moves later, Grace fianlly made it back to San Diego to start her career as a Registered Nurse in surgery. Jordan had moved back to San Diego a year earlier to complete a year of training to become a police officer for Oceanside Police Department. Grace felt a familiar sense of peace when she received a text from Jordan inviting her to catch up over coffee. Two hours was more than enough time for them both to realize that they hadn't laughed quite like that in the three years they spent apart. They had both grown and matured exponentially, but all of the same qualities in each other they had missed so much were still there. Falling in love with each other for a second time felt like an immense blessing to both of them. Jordan wasted no time and asked Grace to marry him eight months later on a perfectly planned weekend trip to his family's cabin in Big Bear.</p>

Morgan and Grace met in their second year at CSU and quickly became friends as their worlds and interests became more intertwined. From house parties to biomedical class, these two became inseparable both in and out of the classroom. Morgan has been a faithful friend in some particularly difficult times in Grace's journey and has always served as a safe space for her to express her ideas and feelings. They have enjoyed many glasses of wine, Sunday facetimes, and midnight dips in the ocean together. Morgan has shown up for Grace in a thousand amazing ways throughout the engagement and wedding season. She is truly the best planning buddy.

Madison and Grace met in nursing school and over the span of 12 months they became fast and easy friends. Every clinical and eight hour long class day was made fun with Madison by her side. Grace was ecstatic to have a like-minded beer drinking lady who shared a similar passion for life and people. These two both have a witty and dry sense of humor and can make each other laugh at just about anything.

Maddi and Grace became friends in high school during cross country and choir and have always shared a similar excitement for the simple things. They have never missed a (wrong) moment to start belly laughing together about life's embarassing moments. They bond over healthy food, a couple great love stories, and Maddi's two incredibly precious babies. Watching Maddi become a mom has been one of Grace's greatest joys.

Maddi Bound

Shannon and Grace were freshman year roommates in the dorms at CSU. This was not an easy transition for either of them but they quickly found many common interests. They spent many days running long distances, making healthy baked goods, and having deep conversations about the important things in life. No matter the distance between them, they have always made a strong effort to be there for each other. Shannon has always served as a role model of poise and resilience for Grace and has supported her greatly in her faith. One of Grace's most cherished memories is being able to attend Shannon's baby girl Rory's baptism. She loves watching Shannon be such a good mom to two as well.

Anna and Grace have known each other since 4th grade and have many many memories of childhood together. Some of these include playing in the treehouse, fan-girling over One Direction, and eating raw cookie dough at sleepovers. They have not only shown up for each other in life's big moments but have always supported and pushed each other to be the best versions of themselves. 

Anna Gallegos

Jarrett and Jordan have known each other since high school sports and became fast friends after Jarrett played matchmaker and told Jordan that Grace wanted him to ask her to one of the school events. These two have been there for each other throughout many of life's seasons and never fail to make each other laugh. Jarrett shares a passion for hobbies and for life that makes him a magnet for good vibes. He holds two very important roles as he is also Grace's God given best friend. Jare, we love you so much!

Jarrett Price

Tyler is Jordan's oldest brother and has spent a lifetime making Jordan laugh and maybe even cry a few times from all of the pranking and mischief these two get into together. Tyler served in the Navy for nine years and Jordan has always looked up to him for his dedication and strong work ethic. The two can be found in the gym hitting a leg day or at a local bar singing karaoke together like no one is watching. Tyler has always been one of Jordan's biggest supporters and both Grace and Jordan have loved spending time with him on the weekends and making family dinners. 

Tyler Thomsen

Ryan is Jordan's middle brother and has always been his right hand man from track and field in high school to all of the late nights playing video games as kids. Jordan admires Ryan for his intelligence that allows him to build computers, figure out just about any puzzle, and help anyone with their math homework (Grace and Jordan both recruited Ryan many times in college). Ryan is known for being able to keep any dinner table conversation light and has excellent timing for his humor. Grace and Jordan have both really enjoyed spending time with Ryan and Maddie during their weekend trips out from Las Vegas.
