Jake and Grace met in May of 2017. Jake was on a college graduation trip with his two friends, Henry and Isaiah Papineau, while Grace was on an eat, pray, love solo journey around Europe. They both were staying at Isaac's Hostel in Dublin and met by the only available outlet in the lobby. These two quickly bonded over their American accents, Catholic high school days, And love for a good Guiness!

That same evening, Jake and his friends invited Grace to tag along to a pub, The Celt. Grace ordered a Guinness and Jake a Tullmore Dew. The photo above is from the pub with an Irishman who was playing his heart out, "Hey baby let them free birds fly!"

It was the luck of the Irish that kept having their paths cross. They happened to bump into one another in London at the London Eye. They traveled on a boat to Greenwich where Grace was dazzled by their infinite knowledgeable for all things Harry Potter! Oh how impressed she was !!

A week went by and again they found each other, this time in Paris. under the Eiffel Tower. They all rode bikes around the city. Where Jake almost crashed into a truck, from that moment forward he refused to travel any further via bike. After his traumatic event they strolled the streets of Paris. Grace took photos at the Louvre and the boys tried to find the only Chipotle in the city. Next time their paths would cross in Munich. There they naturally consumed Jäger shots at a Mexican bar!

After a month of being back in the states Jacob and Grace began to text one another, have late night skype calls, and frequently fly back and forth from Minneapolis and Chicago.

And here they are now planning their wedding day. Who would have known two midwesterner would have to travel across the pond to find one another!
