Getting to Pilot Hill involves a beautiful, scenic drive through the mountains, and crossing the North Fork American River. There are lots of trails to hike and plenty of look-out spots to stop and take in the view. It might be fun to plan a weekend getaway and spend some time hiking and exploring the day before or after the wedding! You could also stop in the little town of Cool near the venue or Auburn on the way in for some shopping or a bite to eat.
