Great place to hike, walk around, and explore. There is a restaurant at the falls called Sea Salts, it is a great seafood place and there is a fun ice cream shop attached to it! Very pretty place to be during the summer in MN and family friendly.

A classic MN staple.. every store you can think of, multiple restaurants, fast food places, and coffee shops. Also has an amusement park located in the center. Great activity to kill some time, go on rides, or get some good food. All indoors too!

This is Grace's all time favorite place to be when the weather is nice. For those wanting to get a little bit of exercise or see the beauty MN has to offer, Lake Harriet is a Swail family favorite. Pete and Grace like to run around here when they are both home! It is almost a 3 mile loop around, and the bandshell offers some food and drinks if you would like to sit by the water. If you go to Lake Harriet though, I recommend stopping at Cafe Ceres for a coffee and breakfast sandwich

The Swail's favorite breakfast/brunch spot and in a fun location. Great breakfast and lunch food, and awesome coffee drinks! They also have a bar for drinks as well. Right next to Lynhall, this is a fun and nice restaurant if you are looking to dress up and enjoy a good meal or grab a drink and an appetizer. Food is New Orleans themed with options for everyone! Highly recommend and great service if you sit at the bar.
