We kindly ask our guests to dress in semi-formal attire for our special day. Think cocktail dresses, maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, or slacks with a dress shirt. To help the bride stand out, we also request that guests please avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, or other traditionally bridal colors. Thank you for celebrating with us and for helping to create a beautiful, elegant atmosphere!

Absolutely! We wouldn’t invite you to a celebration without proper hydration. Expect wine, beer, cocktails, and questionable dance moves shortly after. Drink responsibly… or at least make it entertaining!

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at a few different hotels, for both Friday and Saturday night. We have blocked some popular options that we have personally toured, if you’d prefer to splurge and stay downtown Grand Rapids! While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen our wedding to be an adults-only celebration. The only children attending will be those specifically named on the invitations and those part of our immediate family. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us!

Nope! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are both at the same venue- indoors, so weather won’t be an issue!
