Love was for us like an ebbing wave, gently guiding us toward one another as the Lord’s hands delicately wove together our paths in accordance with His perfect will.

We have known each other since our days in middle school, growing up alongside one another through high school and beyond. At different times, each of us found ourselves developing a crush on the other, but we did not pursue our feelings until the summer of 2020.

As we dated, we fell in love gently, slowly, and with all the care of two people learning to become one together. Our days consisted of coffee shops, photography in the woods, movie nights, cooking and baking together, beach walks, and long drives. Even amidst college courses, working hours, and familial responsibilities, we cherished every second we could spend together. We dated with intentionality; we knew that one day, we would be married, if God’s will allowed. A year and a half passed, and we decided together to get engaged.

After months of meticulous planning and heartfelt conversations with friends and family, Peter commissioned a ring to be made that reflected Grace's gentle heart and creative mind. With the ring’s construction being completed less than 24 hours before the planned date, every element fell into place at the perfect time. Peter proposed on December 18th, 2021 at Wallis Sands Beach in Rye, New Hampshire. Snow was falling, yet even in the cold, there was nothing but joy.

God’s expert timing brought us together at exactly the right moment in each of our lives. In our marriage, we will choose to embrace His will for us, and continue to grow up together as our stories are written.
