Nick & Grace met in college on August 27, 2018 & they quickly became study buddies because they basically had the same classes. Over the course of two years they went from study buddies to best friends who were practically inseparable. From playing horror video games because Grace didn’t believe video games could be scary (she was proven wrong), biking, long boarding, playing pool, ping pong, poker, chess, Grace & Nick took an interest in each others hobbies. They both had a crush on each other but didn’t want to admit to one another that they had a crush because they didn’t want to jeopardize their friendship.

After two years of being best friend Grace & Nick started dating on August 27, 2020 while they were celebrating their friend anniversary at Boodalu. Nick asked Grace out by having the waitress Annie write “will you go out with me” on the dessert plate. Boodalu will always hold a special place in their hearts because of that day & it’s their favorite restaurant.

Five years of dating Nick proposed to Grace during family vacation in Kiawah Island, South Carolina since the ocean is Grace’s happy place. They were walking along the beach to take some pictures of the sunset Nick asked Grace “how much do you love me?” Grace immediately had the suspicion on what is to come & said “I love you a lot why do you ask?” Nick asked once again “no seriously how much do you love me?” Grace replied with “more than you’ll ever know” because they always end their conversation with that statement. Nick said “that’s good because I have one more question for you as he got down on one knee.
