We first met at Auburn University during my sophomore year and his senior year. What’s crazy is that we grew up just 15 minutes apart from each other but had never crossed paths until that night. After meeting at a party, it took him about two weeks to reach out, but once he did, we’ve talked every single day since 2019.

Auburn holds a special place in our hearts—it’s where our story began, and we love to visit and be reminded of those first moments together. Our relationship started with years of long-distance, as we supported and encouraged each other to chase our dreams. Even with the miles between us, we knew within weeks of dating that we had found our forever in each other. It’s funny to think that the night we met almost didn’t happen—I had actually driven out of town earlier that evening and nearly skipped the event. Thankfully, a friend convinced me to come back, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Another place that holds a special place in our hearts is Gulf Shores. Throughout our relationship, it was our go-to spot to spend time together, always dreaming of one day making it our home. Last year, we turned that dream into a reality and made the move to the beach town we love so much.

Our proposal was as special as it was meaningful. Knowing how much aviation means to both of us—especially to him as a pilot—he proposed on the runway at Dauphin Island, a beautiful place close to our hearts.

Now, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family at the big dream wedding we’ve always imagined. We’re counting down the days to this next chapter of our lives!
