HER: Hi! I'm Gracie! For those who don't know me, I am 20 years old, and was born and raised in Mayfield, KY. I am the oldest of 5 siblings, lover of Jesus, and am so excited to marry Ben! I am so excited to meet those of you that I haven't already!

HIM: Hey, I'm Ben! I'm a lover of Jesus and of Gracie, and of plants and food. I'm from Greeneville, TN, but currently live in Murray, KY. I'm an older brother to my sister, Claire, and the family dog, Radar. I'm super excited to spend the rest of my life with Gracie, and I'm thankful for everybody who supports and encourages us!

Our Wedding

Her Perspective: Benjamin and I met at the Racer Campus Ministry. I knew him as the loud boy with long hair who I probably wouldn't get along with very well. At the time of our meeting, both of us were in relationships, but as luck would have it, we would find our way to one another again later. Soon after we met, the pandemic hit, and we got in contact with one another (well... he got in contact with me). Time went on, and our conversations got longer, we really clicked, but I really did not want to be dating anyone- so I told him that, but Benjamin is very persistent. I tried really hard to run him off, but Ben kept persisting, and I thank God for that every day. I can not imagine my life without Benjamin, and am so thankful God did not allow him to give up on me. He continually pursued me, and still does to this day. Soon after getting closer to Ben, I told my best friend I was going to marry him- when you know, you really know! I never would have imagined I would meet my soulmate in the middle of a pandemic! Now, a year later, we're getting married! His Perspective: Gracie and I started like any good couple starts: talking about food at a campus ministry event. The very first conversation we ever had was about Pals, a fast food restaurant located in East TN, where I am from. Unfortunately, it should happen that we were both involved with other people at the time, but I'm so unbelievably glad that changed just a few months later. Also a few months later though, the pandemic happened. After texting infrequently throughout the pandemic, in July of 2020 we started talking with more regularity, and she was so hesitant about starting another relationship. But eventually, after months of begging her to give me a chance, she did. And I thank God every day that she gave me a chance. I'm so madly in love with Gracie, and that love has only grown since it started. I knew within the first month of dating that she was The One. Around 7 months into us dating, the tables turned. Instead of me begging her to give me a chance, she was begging me to propose. After many distractions and red herrings, in June of 2021 I asked her to marry me in the annex of the campus ministry house. That summer we were both working at the same company, so it was difficult to plan a surprise with us spending so much time together. I'm so excited to be marrying my best friend and the love of my life! I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with her!

Our Story

Photos

Kenna is my best friend, and has been for a very long time. I met her at our church camp, WKYC, where we hold many amazing memories. Kenna is married to Jon Stubblefield, and I was lucky enough to be able to watch their relationship grow, and learn how beautiful love can be from the two of them. To know Kenna is to love her, and I am so blessed to have her in my life.

Pierson and I met our freshman year of college. We were in the same Calculus 1 class, and attended the Racer Campus Ministry together. Sophomore year we became roommates, and both became residents of the RCM house in 2020. He is a good friend and just an all around good guy.

Emilee is my cousin, and soul sister. There is never ever a dull moment when the two of us are together. I was very blessed to have family members, who are also my best friends. Growing up, I always so looked forward to spending time with Emilee and her sisters, as they were the only other girls in the family. We share such a sweet bond, and I am so blessed to be as close to Emilee as I am.

Matthew is another person I met through the Racer Campus Ministry, and we are now roommates too. He quickly became one of my closest friends, and is a level headed person who is wonderful at listening, has a calming presence, and always gives good advice.

Leah is also my cousin! When we were younger, Leah was the wild child, always getting into trouble. Leah was the youngest of us girls, and when we were kids she always seemed to gravitate towards the boys in our family- probably because us older girls couldn't keep up with her. As we've all grown up, we have been blessed enough to grow closer, and she will be getting married almost a year before me!

Eli is my cousin, and he has always been someone I could trust. We grew up together, and we’ve only grown closer with age. I lived with him for a summer, and our friendship grew exponentially then. He is definitely someone I wanted by my side on my wedding day.

Haylee is another cousin! Haylee was the first of us girls to get married! Haylee and I are both the oldest sibling, and we were really able to connect on that when we were younger. We were the ones coming up with our own dance routines and forcing our family to watch, or making the other kids participate in talent shows.

Ty is one of Gracie’s cousins, he immediately accepted me into the family and treated me as a friend when we met. Ty is a great guy, and I look forward to getting to make more memories with him and the rest of the family!
