Dalton and I met during the height of COVID-19 in 2020, not the greatest year, at our place of work. However, through the times of being unemployed and being stuck inside our homes, we eventually realized that we were neighbors. We were not just any neighbors, but we shared a fence line. We quickly were watching the bachelor every Monday night and inviting each other and our roommates to the holiday parties we would throw in college. After a few months of staying home, we were back to work again! It was always the best when we had a shift together and were able to crack a joke through all the chaos.

About a year later, June 2021, he asked me to be his girlfriend and we went on our first official date to a wedding of one of his old friends. He later told me he got the courage to ask me out because he could not introduce me at the wedding as his friend (lol). Once the night ended, we were surprised to find a firework show on the side of the road and stopped to watch. It must have been a sign of good luck.

Two and a half years later, he proposed on the ice at the Rockefeller Center in NYC. A graduation trip that turned into an engagement trip! I always thought he would be super sweaty before the proposal and it would not be much of a surprise, but God made it rain, and it was amazing.

We cannot wait for you to join us on our special day!
