Our story began with a simple swipe on a dating app in the midst of the pandemic in October 2020. Because of strict restrictions still in place with limited places to spend our first date, our first date was at Zachs parents house. Even though it was nothing extravagant, it was perfect.


I have my friend Rachel to thank for Zach and Is first date as she convinced me to take a break from my tedious nursing school homework to go hangout with Zach.


It didnt take long before we were spending almost every day together and we knew this was not going to be a short fling.


As the years passed, we supported each other through the start of both of our careers. Zachs 6 month long academy and Gracies journey to finish nursing school.


Now at almost 5 years together, we both have full time careers and can confidently say that the other was a big part of the reason we both were able to achieve that.


In September of 2024, Zach decided to take the next step in our relationship and propose. (I had been secretly hoping it was going to happen while we were in Iceland, lol).


We have gone through so many highs, and a few lows here and there. But, we have conquered everything together as a couple.


We knew long ago that we wanted to spend our lives together and being able to do that now is something we are both so very excited for.
