Our Wedding

If you told our middle school selves we would be getting married, we probably wouldnt believe you!Our story begins all the way back to middle school when Gracie had a small crush on Trent. We began snap chatting each-other, every day, and have actually never missed a day even til now! Fast forward to many years later, Gracie bit the bullet and asked Trent if he wanted to hang out. Yes you read that correctly, Gracie made the first move! Our first date was to Applebees on May 18th, 2019. To say the least, it went well enough to go on many more dates. On June 9th, 2019, we were at Gracies parents house playing Kings in Corner. After Gracie beat Trent in a game, he decided to ask her to be his girlfriend. Very fitting if you know their relationship well!Since then, we have completed many memorable chapters of our lives together. From graduating High School, going to different Universities (Gracie- Bemidji State University and Trent- The College of St. Scholastica), living in Duluth together for two years, and now living in Minnetonka while perusing our careers in Teaching (Edina) and Chiropractic (North Western Health Sciences University).But out of all of those chapters, this one seems to be our favorite.Trent proposed to Gracie on May 16th, 2025 at the Black Beach in Silver Bay, almost exactly 6 years after our first date. After the proposal, we celebrated with our amazing family and friends.And so, that is our story! A chaotic, loving, full of happiness, and a grounded relationship that has been building since 2019.

Gracie and Jayden met in the 5th grade, but didn't become best friends until High School! They haven't missed a day of talking, snap chatting, or texting since sophomore year. When Gracie started dating Trent, not soon after Jayden started dating Karter (one of Trent's groomsmen). Now, they are married! Gracie was the maid of honor in Jayden's wedding, and now the roles are reversed. They couldn't navigate life without eachother.

Gracie and Julia had briefly talked in high school, (even though Julia is from Bemidji, MN)  but they got closer in college!

Gracie "officially" met Julia in college when they both went to Bemidji State University and pursued their teaching licenses.  Julia is Gracie's closest college friend, they spent many days and nights talking about life but also making lesson plans!

Gracie and Indiana met when Gracie started student teaching/working at Pike Lake Elementary! They bonded over teaching at first, but then grew closer as the school year went on. They would do many TJ Maxx and Target trips together when Gracie and Trent lived in Duluth. Gracie sees Indiana like an older sister!

Gracie and Camryn met in middle school. When Camryn moved to Grand Rapids from the metro, they didn't hit off right away. It took a year for them to become friends, but after that they were inseparable! They spent their whole 7th, 8th, and freshman year of high school attached at the hip. Camryn will always be one of Gracie's closest friends!

Trent and Evan met when Evan came out of the womb! They are brothers and are almost 2 years a part. Trent and Evan have so many great childhood memories together. If you ever see Evan out and about, or even at the wedding, ask him how he got stuck in a rocking chair!

Trent and Noah met when he and Gracie started dating, as Noah is Gracie's brother. Trent and Noah have made many memories in the time he and Gracie have been together. Trent has joined many family vacations from going to Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, and California. The best memory of them has to be playing cribbage!

Trent and Karter are childhood friends! They have so many fun memories playing outside, playing baseball, and playing with nerf guns. They would bring chaos wherever they went! Karter was Gracie and Trent's third wheel for a little bit, but we wouldn't of had it any other way! When Trent and Karter are together, they will still bring havoc to those around them.

Trent and Caden have also been friends for years! They became really good friends while playing high school football together. Trent and Caden have a lot of memories with the boys, such as playing euchre and hot tubbing! Trent and Caden also lived in their dorm/suite at St. Scholastica together!

Trent and Kale also go way back! They played basketball and football together through their childhood and highschool years. Like Caden, Trent and Kale have many memories with the boys like playing euchre and hottubbing!

If you wanted to have an adventure, visit Gracie and Trent's first place they moved in together! Duluth is such a beautiful place and has so much to offer. From the amount of restaurants and site seeing options, it is THE place to visit. Canal Park is one of the top places in Duluth to see!

Visit the Black Beach in Silver Bay, MN! This is where Trent proposed to Gracie! It is such a beautiful place and has many cool spots around it too, such as Gooseberry Falls or the Split-rock Lighthouse!

If you are traveling up the North Shore, Betty's Pies is a must stop! This place has yummy food, and the best pies in the world! Gracie and Trent went here after they got engaged to celebrate with pie!
